I am forever shocked and amazed about what I consider the real lives of my closer and oldest friends.  My problem with it is that I still see my friends as the grubby bunch of kids who sat in my driveway eating popsicles. It boggles my mind to think about the guy I still call Stinky sitting at his desk working as PHP developer.  I’m not entirely sure what that is, although he refers to himself as “code gnome” during the holidays. I’m sure he’d explain it if I really wanted to know what it was all about.  I’m not sure I do, I think that it’s enough to know that he’s involved in web development.  I understand that he’s quite successful. He’s actually still down to earth. He still lets us call him Stinky.  I think his nickname is how he got his own office.  I try not to think about it too much.
