The Edmonton minor hockey Association has framed certain rules and regulations for game play and conduct of players inside the club and its related activities. The game rules for all the tournaments will be:
- Mouth guards are mandatory any player caught without a mouth guard will receive a 10 minute minor penalty for each time caught without it.
- Each game are 1 ½ hours in length.
- No body checking whatsoever.
- Any combination of 3 minor penalties or 10 minute misconduct, the player shall be removed from the game.
- No slap-shots or fake slap-shots
- If a team shows up to a game short of players – players from the other team maybe used with the approval of the other team coach.
- If a player scores more than 3 goals, any further goals he scores for the team will not be counted, however the player can be offered to the opposing team for the remainder of the game and he is entitled to score up to 3 more goals.
